Common People will take place on the area known as The Flats on the Common in Southampton City Centre.
There will be two entrances into Common People:
The East Entrance is located on the pathway on to the Common from Northlands Road, just off The Avenue, for people coming from the Hackney Carriage Taxi Rank at The Cowherds Pub, or walking from the The Avenue (from City Centre and Southampton Train Station).
The West Entrance is for people coming from Hill Lane and the official Pick-up / Drop-off Point at Richard Taunton College for Private Hire Taxis, family and friends.
Please do not attempt to enter by any other route as you will be asked to continue or turn back towards one of the two entrances. Take a nice stroll through the park if you are entering from the North of Southampton Common.
Important note. There is no car parking available at the festival so please use public transport if you are not walking or cycling to the event.
If you want to drive into Southampton then walk or take a taxi to the Common, we’ll have a list of suggested town centre car parks on our website soon.
If you’re driving please ensure you have a designated driver.
